Break and enter in Booval, QLD

Police are appealing for information and have released footage following a break and enter at a Booval serving station earlier this month.

Initial inquires indicate that just before 2am on Wednesday, May 18, a man armed with a hammer approached the Brisbane Road business and smashed its front glass door.

After obtaining access to the premises, the man jumped over the front counter, forced open drawers and stole a quantity of cigarettes, tobacco products, and money.

The man then fled the scene on foot along Brisbane Road.

Investigators have today released CCTV of the incident that may help identify the man.

The man is described as having tanned skin with a slim build and was captured wearing dark gloves and a face mask.

Investigators are asking anyone who may be able to identify the man, who may have witnessed the incident, or have CCTV/dashcam footage of the area to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
