Break and enter, Toowoomba City

Detectives from Toowoomba CIB are investigating the break and enter of a workshop on Goggs Street early yesterday morning.

At around 2.30am on March 11, a vehicle was used to gain entry by reversing though the front doors of the business.

Once inside, the male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle stole five fire fighting pumps (pictured).

The doors to the building were extensively damaged during the incident.

Police would like to speak to a man described as Caucasian with a proportionate build, wearing a long-sleeved poncho and a cap.

Anyone who has knowledge of who the man may be, and the location of the pumps is urged to contact police.

The vehicle used had been stolen from Wilsonton on March 10 and was located yesterday morning in Newtown.

Investigations are continuing.
