Audiences can expect big laughs and sharp relatability when Echo Theatre Production brings Joanna Murray-Smith’s acclaimed comedy-drama Bombshells to the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre (DRTCC).
Diving into the wonderfully tangled realities of modern life the show follows a diverse group of women navigating life’s challenges, triumphs and unexpected turns.
DRTCC’s Performing Arts and Venues Coordinator Tiffany Rowland said the production offers audiences an entertaining and authentic theatrical experience.
“Bombshells is one of those rare productions that is both laugh-out-loud funny and also touches your heart.
“Joanna Murray-Smith’s writing captures the inner dialogue many of us experience but rarely say out loud, making the characters feel instantly familiar and relatable,” Ms Rowland said.
“Whether you’re coming with friends, family or as part of a theatre group, Bombshells reminds us that everyone’s juggling something.
“It’s honest, funny and while life can sometimes feel chaotic, there’s plenty of joy in sharing those experiences.”
The venue is offering a special Bombshells Bestie Bundle for a perfect girls’ night out. Patrons who purchase the Bestie Bundle will receive two tickets to the performance and a cheese box for two.
“We love creating experiences that extend beyond the stage, and the Bestie Bundle is a fantastic way to turn a great show into a special night out.
“We encourage audiences to bring their friends, dress in pink and make an evening of it.” Ms Rowland said
As a bonus, audience members who wear pink on the night have a chance to win a pamper pack.
Bombshells will be performed on Wednesday, 16 September at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available by heading to drtcc.com.au, phoning 6801 4378, or visiting the DRTCC Box Office.
