Browns Gap Road will continue to be closed until further notice as a sink hole has formed next to the road. The sinkhole has been assessed. Works will soon be occurring to clear out and backfill the hole.
A survey has taken place to look at the scope of works that needs to be undertaken. Once the method of stabilizing the area has been identified a contractor will be brought in to conduct the works as soon as they are available.
