Budget prioritises health, education & transport for Illawarra & South Coast

The Illawarra and South Coast are growing regions.

For too long, they have been neglected by the former Liberal and National Government.

The Minns Labor Government is investing in the essential services and infrastructure in the region to meet the growing needs of their communities well into the future.

We are committed to seeing the Illawarra and South Coast reach its full potential.

Today’s budget reflects this commitment.

At the same time, NSW is confronted with deteriorating fiscal conditions, left by the Liberals and Nationals.

In addition to record debt, the Liberals made more than $7 billion worth of promises they could not pay for.

The Minns Labor Government is now making the careful and necessary decisions to address the holes left in the budget by the Liberals to ensure we can deliver these commitments to the people and communities of the Illawarra and South Coast.
