Department of Water and Environmental Regulation building partnerships at Supply Nation’s Connect 2026.
As part of its commitment to strengthening relationships with Aboriginal businesses and exploring opportunities for future collaboration, the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) participated in Supply Nation’s Connect 2026. Connect 2026 bought together leaders, entrepreneurs and changemakers to celebrate progress and spark opportunity with the Indigenous Business sector.
Assistant Director Procurement, Phuong Intini said the event provided a valuable opportunity to build connections and engage in conversations with the participating businesses about working with DWER and its procurement processes.
“Every conversation helped strengthen our understanding of the Aboriginal business sector and highlighted opportunities to increase Aboriginal participation in our procurement activities.”
DWER’s participation in Supply Nation’s Connect 2026 reinforces its commitment to engaging with Aboriginal businesses, fostering trusted partnerships and creating pathways for greater participation in government procurement, supporting long-term economic outcomes for Aboriginal communities across Western Australia.
