Burglary and attempted robbery at Buderim

Three teenage boys have been charged following investigations into a burglary and attempted robbery in Buderim yesterday.

It will be alleged just before 7pm, the trio broke into a Deloraine Drive address. One of the boys, who was armed with a knife, confronted the 71-year-old male resident.

It will further be alleged the resident had to arm himself with a chair for protection from the boy before he fled with the other two teenagers who were waiting outside.

The occupant of the house was not physically injured during the incident.

Officers located the weapon ant the scene and located the three boys a short time later.

Three boys aged 13, 14 and 15-years-old have each been charged with break and enter, stealing and two counts of attempted robbery.
