Burglary appeal at Hamilton

Investigators continue their appeal for information after a distinctive Bentley station wagon was stolen from Hamilton yesterday.

Three males were observed entering the Toorak Road property shortly after 4.40pm before allegedly gaining entry to the house, threatening the occupants and stealing keys.

Once outside the trio stole the distinctive Bentley station wagon.

They were seen accelerating away from the Toorak Road address around 5pm heading east on Kingsford Smith Drive and into Curtin Avenue East at Eagle Farm.

The vehicle was later located abandoned in Whichello Street at Newtown shortly after 2am this morning.

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with nine offences including burglary, armed robbery, enter dwelling with intent and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Detectives would like to thank those in the community who came forward to assist and encourage anyone with additional information to make contact with police.
