Burglary with violence in Elanora, QLD

Detectives are investigating a burglary with violence at an Elanora home that occurred in the early hours of this morning.

Around 1.30am five men wearing balaclavas forced entry into a Bunbury Court residence and threatened the three occupants.

The men were armed as they moved through the home damaging property, one of them struck a 20-year-old male resident to his leg with a baseball bat, demanding items of value.

The men demanded keys to one of the occupant’s silver 1999 Proton Persona with Queensland registration 096 LZA fleeing the scene in the vehicle.

Investigations are continuing.
