Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) and Moreton Bay Regional Council crews are on scene at a bushfire burning near Lagoon Road and Paradise Road in Burpengary. This fire broke out earlier today and is posing no threat to property at this time. The fire is contained however crews will be backburning in the area which may produce smoke that may affect nearby residents. Residents should close windows and doors and keep their respiratory medications close by. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
