Bus driver assaulted in Broadbeach, QLD

Broadbeach police investigating the assault of a bus driver in late January have released images of a man who may be able to assist with their investigations.

Around 8.40am on Sunday, January 31 a bus was parked at the Broadbeach South Light Rail Station when the driver spoke to a male passenger about consuming food onboard.

The man then punched the 58-year-old driver once in the face, causing swelling and bruising to his eye, bleeding from his nose, as well as a small laceration.

The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 175cms tall with a slim build and very short hair. He has tattoos on his right forearm and right calf.
