ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: A large fire is burning in the landscape within the area bounded by the Tablelands Highway, Barkly Stock Route, Stuart Highway and Carpentaria Highway. The fire is moving south towards the Barkly Stock Route and is producing significant smoke across the region. The fire is currently affecting Anthony Lagoon, Mungabroom and Mallapunyah Springs pastoral properties and is likely to impact Eva Downs.
