At approximately 6:00am on the 27/01/2020, police were called to a business burglary at IGA Brighton located at 178 Brighton Road, Brighton.
A silver Toyota Rav 4 was driven into the business causing significant damage to the front entrance of the store. Two persons have entered the store and a quantity of cigarettes was stolen from the business.
The vehicle believed to be used in the burglary was recovered on fire a short time later in Herdsmans Cove.
No persons were injured during this incident.
Police are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident at IGA Brighton, or who observed two persons running from the silver Toyota Rav 4 in the Herdsmans Cove area.
Furthermore, Police would like to hear from any person who are offered cheap cigarettes for sale.
