BizRebuild is conducting a survey into the impact of the bushfires on businesses in areas affected by the 2019/2020 bushfires. The research aims to understand how local businesses were impacted by the bushfires including:
- impacts to business trading due to the bushfires
- changes to staffing levels, revenues and customer base
- damage to business property and other assets
- effects on the well-being of businesses owners and staff.
Business owners are also asked to forward the survey on to other owners or managers of businesses in local areas impacted by the 2019/2020 bushfires. The survey will be able to reflect the business community’s needs more accurately if a high number of businesses complete the survey.
The results will help understand and measure the scale of the impact on businesses and use the information to enhance further support programs.
