East Gippsland businesses are being invited to have their say on the opportunities and challenges facing the region through East Gippsland Shire Council’s Business Insights Survey.
Survey invitations will be emailed to businesses and industry organisations through Council’s business contact lists, partner networks and business databases.
Mayor Cr Jodie Ashworth said the survey was an important opportunity for businesses to help shape the future of East Gippsland’s economy.
“Our businesses are the backbone of East Gippsland’s economy, creating local jobs, supporting our communities and driving investment across the region,” Cr Ashworth said.
“Every survey response will help us better understand the challenges and opportunities facing businesses across East Gippsland, strengthen our advocacy, and ensure our future economic development priorities reflect the needs of our business community.”
The survey will gather feedback on business conditions, opportunities for growth and the barriers businesses face, helping Council identify priorities for future investment, business support and advocacy.
Businesses that receive an invitation are encouraged to complete the survey and share their experiences. The findings will help shape Council’s economic development planning and strengthen advocacy for investment that benefits the region.
