Call for AusMedtech 2022 session submissions

AusBiotech is inviting session proposals for AusMedtech 2022, Australia’s premier medtech conference, to be held in person on 24 – 26 May next year. AusBiotech invites proposals for inspirational, cutting-edge session topics that will be at the forefront of the global medtech industry, including keynote presentations, discussion panels, and workshops.

This is your opportunity to have a say and lead discussions, bringing new and diverse topics to the forefront of the medtech industry.

Thrilled to be back in person for the first time in two years, AusMedtech 2022 is being supported by Host State Partner Victoria Government at the Melbourne Conference Centre, and will feature a cutting-edge three-day programme, industry exhibition, Early-Stage Investment Forum, a welcome function (24 May) and a conference dinner (25 May).

AusBiotech, together with the Programme Committee, is looking for topical session submissions that explore current trends, critical and emerging topics, breakthroughs and stories that are thought provoking and encourage discussion on topics that matter to medtech locally and abroad.

AusMedtech 2022 aims to leverage our diverse membership base to present an engaging line up of keynote speakers and knowledgeable panellists who will share their expertise, insight and commentary on a range of topics that are practical, forward thinking and inspirational, with a core focus on increasing the knowledge and understanding across the sector of the future of medtech innovation beyond current technologies and trends.

Preference will be given to completed submissions that include strong rationale; clear links to developments in technology, clinical practice and commercialisation; and interesting and diverse speakers. Please note that AusBiotech is committed to gender diversity, and submissions for panels will only be considered if they meet a 50 per cent gender balance.

Run by industry, for industry, AusMedtech is an annual conference held by AusBiotech. Read about “The power of reconnection at AusMedtech 2021” in the October 2021 edition of the Australasian Biotechnology journal, where where almost 400 national and international members of the Australian medtech community gathered.

Submit your programme ideas by 31 December 2021.

Early bird registrations will be opened imminently.
