Northen Territory Police have arrested four people in relation to an aggravated assault that occurred in Katherine yesterday morning.
Around 7:00am, police received reports that a female had allegedly been assaulted by a group of three females and one male at O’Shea Park, the assault continued until members of the public intervened.
Three alleged offenders were located on scene with a fourth arrested at a nearby location.
The victim was conveyed to Katherine Hospital for treatment for her injuries.
The offenders remain in police custody.
Detectives are urging anyone who witnessed or may have captured the incident on Dashcam footage, who hasn’t already done so, to make contact on 131 444 and quote reference NTP2400090499.
