Call for information – Aggravated robberies – Darwin

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses after aggravated robberies in Coconut Grove and Ludmilla overnight.

Just after 10pm, police received reports an unknown man, armed with a knife, entered a service station on Bagot Road, Coconut Grove, and threatened a member of staff. The offender allegedly stole a number of small items and fled the scene on a pushbike.

A short time later, police received another report that an unknown man had entered a service station on Bagot Road, Ludmilla, and again threatened staff with a knife before stealing cash and fleeing the scene.

Police believe it was the same offender in both incidents.

Detectives from Serious Crime are investigating and are currently working to identify the man and to recover the stolen property.

Police are urging anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to make contact on 131 444.
