Call for witnesses – Aggravated assault – Alice Springs

The Northern Territory Police are seeking witnesses, CCTV footage, and dash cam recordings following an incident that occurred yesterday at around 8:30am, in the vicinity of the Tom Brown roundabout on Bradshaw Drive.

A male approached a female pedestrian, grabbing her from behind and forcibly pulling her from the footpath. The victim confronted the male, who subsequently fled north on foot through the scrubland, parallel to Telegraph Terrace.

The offender is described as an Indigenous male, approximately 5’10” tall, aged between 20-30 years old. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a bright red hooded jumper with the hood tightly tied around his face and knee-length khaki-coloured shorts.
