Cabonne Council have awarded the design and construction tender for Canomodine Creek Bridge Replacement.
The tender was awarded to Murray Construction Pty Ltd at the November 2023 Council meeting. The project was later endorsed by Transport for NSW (TfNSW) in late December 2023 as part of the approval process for project commencement.
On-site works for the reconstruction of Canomodine Bridge are expected to commence May 2024, which includes the reconstruction of the bridge and realignment of the approaching road pavement. The bridge is expected to be completed and operational by the end of July 2024.
Off-site works are currently underway, including the final detail design and pre-casting of the bridge components.
The project program submitted with the tender is indicative only. Council will provide further notification to residents and the wider community prior to the commencement of on-site works.
The project has been funded by the NSW Government’s Essential Public Asset Reconstruction Works.
