– CapBridge has partnered Australasia’s leading Investment Platform Wholesale Investor to launch “Preferred Access”

Singapore-based global private syndication platform, CapBridge Pte Ltd (“CapBridge”) announced on Feb. 8 an innovative investment product that will enable individual accredited and expert investors to access private equity investment opportunities at a smaller ticket size. Named “Preferred Access”, this investment product is designed for investors looking at investing in unlisted private companies for potential above-market returns.

Johnson Chen – Founder and CEO of CapBridge said, “In recent years, we have seen demand from individual accredited investorsfor private investment opportunities. However, these private equity investments are typically exclusive and only available for investing at a large quantum. We are pleased to partner CapBridge and introduce more private market opportunities to our network.”

The Wholesale Investor platform has over 21,500 investors in its global network. As launch partner, Wholesale Investor will collaborate with CapBridge on marketing, distribution, and outreach, as well as identify opportunities to further expand the private markets eco-system together.

More about “Preferred Access”

Through CapBridge’s “Preferred Access”, individual accredited investors are now able to directly discover and access private equity opportunities. The “Preferred Access” product gives investors the ability to invest in multiple private deals at smaller ticket sizes, which has the added effect of diversifying their investment portfolios.

Available to accredited investors, all investment opportunities in the “Preferred Access” programme are led by experienced professional investors who are committing their own funds and performing due diligence on the investment.

“Preferred Access” participants will be able to view all available investment deals on the CapBridge platform. These deals have been negotiated and invested in by professional investors. Participants can select the opportunity in which they wish to co-invest and pledge their desired investment amount.

When the target interest amount as set by the company raising capital is achieved, the investment in the company will be executed. Investors receive returns directly upon a liquidity event such as an Initial Public Offering (“IPO”).

Private companies can also use the “Preferred Access” programme as part of their capital raising exercise. With the CapBridge platform, growth companies can access global private capital in an intelligent and cost-efficient manner, while remaining privately-held.

One of the first few companies to participate in the “Preferred Access” programme is a highly innovative healthcare equipment company based in the US.
