Car fires in Hamilton Hill and Cockburn Central

Fremantle Detectives are seeking information regarding two separate car fires yesterday morning, Tuesday 15 November 2022.

About 3:30am police were called to Meadley Mews in Hamilton Hill, following reports a Mitsubishi tow truck was on fire outside a home.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) attended and extinguished the blaze.

About 3:50am police were called to Lakeridge Drive in Cockburn Central, following reports a white Ford Ranger SUV was on fire outside a home.

The occupant of the home extinguished the blaze before the arrival of police.

No injuries were reported.

In both incidents, it is believed multiple motorcycles were sighted in the area at the time.

At this time the fires are being treated as suspicious.
