Caregivers photographic mural – Clayton Festival

Giant portraits of people who self-identify as being givers of care are on display in the heart of Clayton.

For Caregivers, visual artist Ross Coulter embarked on a journey to photograph more than 30 caregivers for the large-scale photographic mural as part of the Clayton Festival.

Coulter seeks to highlight everyday people and reveal the faces of those providing invaluable yet hidden labour, who are rarely acknowledged by mainstream contemporary society.

The mural is on display on opposite the Skyrail station at 276 Clayton Road (next to the Peppercorn Tree) until Saturday 27 February.
