This is because last year the Australian Ballooning Federation (ABF) advised CASA that it would no longer perform these functions.
We have endeavoured to maintain the status quo for recreational ballooning – in effect, keeping balloons flying without any major changes. However, there will be some differences for the recreational ballooning sector.
We have worked in collaboration with the ABF to make these changes as simple and clear as possible.
