The Australian Smart Communities Summit is coming to Casey next month, bringing together leaders, innovators and communities for three days of interactive sessions and talks on building smarter, more resilient places across Australia.
The event is being delivered by the City of Casey in partnership with the Australian Smart Communities Association and will be held at Bunjil Place from 14-16 October.
Across three dynamic days, participants will hear from leading thinkers, practitioners and innovators to learn how smart community practices are delivering real-world results across Australia.
City of Casey Acting Manager of Strategy Innovation and Transformation, Pearl Ng said the event was a great opportunity for local businesses, start-ups and those interested in emerging Smart City trends to hear about the latest developments and explore partnership opportunities.
“Council, guided by our Smart Casey Program, is committed to using innovation, data, and technology to deliver better outcomes for Casey’s residents,” Ms Ng said.
“For Casey, being a smart city means putting people first with things like installing public benches with free Wi-Fi, and partnering with local innovators to trial new solutions for digital equity, climate action, community connection, and ageing well.
“This Summit will bring together local government, industry, academics and community leaders from across Australia to share practical ideas, real-world case studies and lessons that are helping shape smarter, more resilient communities.
