Cash register and cigarettes stolen during ram-raid at Dubbo, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance following an alleged ram-raid in the state’s Central West.

About 10pm Sunday (1 March 2020), a white Subaru Impreza was stolen from a premise on Douglas Mawson Drive, Dubbo.

Soon after, that vehicle was returned to the premises with significant damage, and a white Toyota Hilux was stolen.

About 11.45pm the stolen Hilux smashed through the front doors of a supermarket on Tamworth Street, Dubbo.

While the driver stayed with the car, three people were seen to get out and run into the store where they stole a cash register and a large amount of cigarettes. They all fled the scene prior to the arrival of police.

Officers attached Orana Mid-Western Police District attended and have commenced an investigation.
