Officers from Caulfield are investigating an affray between two people which occurred in Caulfield North this afternoon.
Police have been told a man and a woman were seen kicking each other on Orrong Road about 3.30pm.
The man kicked the woman to the stomach and caused her to fall to the ground.
He then walked off.
Police wish to speak to both the man and the woman.
The man is perceived to be Caucasian and 35-40-years-old. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black jacket, tan pants and black runners.
Investigators have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with their enquires.
