Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in the CBD this evening.
It appears a truck and a cyclist collided at the intersection of La Trobe and King streets about 5.10pm.
Sadly, the cyclist died at the scene.
The driver of the truck stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Police have cordoned off the area surrounding the collision while they process the scene.
