CCTV released after armed robbery in Roselands

Police have released CCTV vision and are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Roselands earlier this year.

Just before 3am on Tuesday 8 September 2020, a man entered a service station on Canterbury Road, and approached the counter before producing a shortened rifle, threatening a 21-year-old male employee

The man demanded money from the till, placing cash in a blue backpack before fleeing. He was last seen running away where it is believed he got in a vehicle.

The employee and two customers in the store at the time were not physically injured.

Officers from Campsie Police Area Command attended with detectives commencing an investigation into the incident.

As inquiries continue, investigators have now released images of a man and a vehicle that may assist with their inquiries.

The man depicted is described as being 175cm to 180cm tall, and of a large build. He is shown wearing a white, black, blue hooded jumper, black trackpants, with white gloves and sneakers.

The vehicle is described as a white Holden Cruz.
