CCTV released as inquiries into 2018 sexual assault at Camperdown massage parlour continue

Police have released CCTV as inquiries continue into an sexual assault at a massage parlour in Sydney’s inner west last year.

On Thursday 28 June 2018, a man attended a massage parlour on Parramatta Road at Camperdown, and sexually assaulted a 27-year-old female employee performing a massage on him.

Officers from Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries.

Investigators have now released CCTV vision of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The man depicted is described as being of Caucasian appearance, medium height and build, and ginger coloured hair and beard. He has a significant tattoo on his left calf of an animal with red and yellow stripes on it.

He is shown wearing a dark blue button-up shirt, black pants, black and white coloured shoes, and is carrying a black backpack.

Anyone with information relating to this incident is urged to come forward.

Detectives are urging any witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to contact Leichhardt Police Station or Crime Stoppers.

Police encourage any person who has been a victim of any kind of sexual violence, no matter how long ago the incident occurred, to contact police. Reports can be made at any police station and information provided is treated with the strictest of confidence.
