Detectives are appealing for information after two vehicles were set alight outside a home on the Central Coast late last month.
About 10.20pm on Tuesday 29 July 2026, emergency services were called to a home on Tarwarri Road, Summerland Point, following reports of a fire.
At the scene, police were told that two vehicles parked outside a home had been set alight by unknown people.
The occupants of the home were assisted by a neighbour in extinguishing the flames; however, both vehicles sustained extensive damage.
A crime scene was established and forensically examined by specialist officers.
An investigation into the incident commenced by officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District.
As inquiries continue, detectives have released CCTV of two vehicles seen in the area at the time of the incident.
Police believe the occupants of the vehicles, who were travelling in convoy, might be able to assist police with inquiries.
The first vehicle is described as a light-coloured Range Rover SUV, with a dark roof and tinted windows.
The second vehicle is described as being a BMW, Porsche or similar SUV.
One of the vehicles is believed to have a loud exhaust sound.
Anyone with information about the vehicles, including dashcam or CCTV, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
