CCTV released as police appeal over public place shooting in Bexley

Police are appealing for public assistance and have now released CCTV as inquiries continue into a shooting in Sydney’s south earlier this year.

Just before 6am on Monday 13 January, officers from St George Police Area Command were called to a house on Kingsland Road, Bexley, after reports of a shooting.

Police were told the residents of the house were woken by loud bang noises, following by a car driving off. Two bullet holes were located in the front of the house and the two adult occupants were uninjured.

Detectives formed Strike Force Barlyn to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting and as inquiries continue, CCTV has now been released in an appeal for public assistance.

Two men are depicted in the footage fleeing the scene in a black Holden Commodore following the shooting.

The driver is depicted wearing a white hooded jumper and the front passenger is depicted wearing a black hooded jumper.
