CCTV vision released over Bass Hill shooting, NSW

Detectives investigating a shooting in Sydney’s south-west earlier this year, are appealing for public assistance.

Emergency services were called to Sevenoaks Crescent, Bass Hill, just before 11.30pm on Saturday 22 June 2019, after reports of shots fired.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command attended a home where three men, armed with firearms, entered the home and discharged a number of shots.

Police have been told, the three men fled in a stolen white Audi RSQ3 that was later set alight on Jacaranda Avenue, Georges Hall, before the trio left in a white SUV.

The occupants of the home – a man and woman, both aged 28, and a four-year-old child – were uninjured.

Detectives from Bankstown Police Area Command established Strike Force Vicky to investigate the circumstance surrounding the shooting.

Investigators are appealing to the public for assistance to identify any suspicious or unusual behaviour in Sevenoaks Crescent prior to the shooting.
