The 2 2021 event sites – at Bradleys Head and Strickland House – boast exceptional Sydney Harbour foreshore vantage points to take in the popular annual firework display.

“Sydney is renowned for its traditional New Year’s Eve firework extravaganza and there is no better place to see the spectacle than one of our beautiful National Park locations,” said Andrew Nicholls, NPWS Executive Director Business Delivery.

“These special ticketed events to welcome in 2022 are set in two iconic locations that are much loved for their beauty and history.

“Celebrations at both spots will be family-friendly, alcohol free and COVID safe, making for a memorable way to welcome in the New Year.”

Audience capacity at each site has been reduced this year. The number of fireworks launch barge locations have also been reduced from 6 to 4 this year.

Bradleys Head will host 2200 guests while Strickland Estate will offer tickets for 1000 guests.

“Due to uncertainty around the COVID situation, only 2 NPWS sites will be on sale this year,” said Linda Hall, Manager, NPWS Commercial Partnerships.

“Should there be any change to due COVID in the lead up to New Year’s Eve events, full refunds will be available to ticket holders.

“For this year only, tickets will also be offered at a 50% discount, in acknowledgment of the difficult year many people have experienced and the reduced number of fireworks launch barge locations on offer.”

Located on the north side of Sydney Harbour, the popular Bradleys Head site offers breathtaking views of the harbour skyline, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Fort Denison.

Guests at Bradleys Head can take in the fireworks from three locations – the Amphitheatre Precinct, Mast Precinct or Athol Lawn.

The grounds of historic Strickland House, located on the south side of the harbour, also showcase first class harbour views.

Ticket prices ranges from $19.88 to $43.33 for an adult and from $50.98 up to $101.95 for a family 2 adults and 2 children), depending on the location.
