A workshop is being held in Bendigo on 14 April to discuss long term sustainability for the CFA-VFBV Championships.
The purpose of the workshop is to develop a five year action plan for the historic competition, which has been running since 1873.
All brigades with a competition team have been asked to nominate a representative to attend in addition to the membership of the Rural and Urban Rules Committees. The workshop is a chance for members to have their say on the direction of the Championships, with the aim of ensuring the competition one of the flagship events on CFA calendar. Over 150 members are expected to be at the workshop.
Further consultation with members will take place following the workshop, with a strong plan to be ready by June 30.
