We’re making great progress with upgrades to Old South Road.
The next stage will require a temporary closure to all through traffic, between Old Hume Highway and Aylmerton Road from Monday 25 September to Wednesday 18 October.
The road closure is required to allow the contractor to undertake upgrades to two large stormwater culverts within this section of road.
Please plan ahead to avoid possible delays and follow the detours in place.
We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of community members and road users while we undertake these improvements to our roads.
Works have already been completed on the asphalting of intersections at Aylmerton Road, Diamond Fields Road and Bong Bong Road.
