Detectives from the Major Crash Investigation Unit have charged a 29-year-old man in relation to a fatal crash in Fitzroy Crossing on 5 July 2020.
It is alleged about 8am, the man was driving a Ford Falcon sedan with three passengers on the Fitzroy Crossing – Jubilee Downs Road in Mount Hardman when the vehicle went up an embankment and rolled.
A 25-year-old female passenger died as a result of the crash.
The 29-year-old man from Mount Hardman has been charged with:-
• Dangerous Driving Causing Death in Circumstances of Aggravation;
• Excess 0.05%; and
• No Authority to Drive.
He is due to appear before the Looma Magistrates Court on 1 September 2020.
