Investigators from Strike Force Trident have charged a 17-year-old male in relation to property offences allegedly committed last month.
A search warrant was executed at a Malak residence yesterday, with police locating evidence linking the male to offences committed at two commercial premises in Casuarina on 25 February 2019.
Police will allege that the male trespassed and stole a locked cash tin containing $200 from one of the businesses, before damaging property at the second by breaking a padlock securing a security door.
The male fled the scene of the second business when he was startled by security personnel and a civilian.
The male was granted conditional bail to appear in court at a later date for trespassing, stealing and damaging property.
