Chatty Café – easy way to chat and connect

It’s amazing how much a quick chat can brighten your day – but meeting new people can be hard. We’ve got a simple solution – Chatty Café.

Join us for a cuppa and a chat around a shared table at your local café, library or meeting place.

Participating venues have a Chatty Table where anyone in the community can grab a seat, enjoy a drink or a bite to eat, and have a chat with others. Most Chatty Tables are supported by a Chatty Café volunteer ‘host’ to make people feel welcome and get the conversation started.

The Chatty Table events are free and there’s no booking required.

Chatty Cafés over the holidays

Chatty Café is a safe, inclusive space for everyone in the community. You might live alone or work from home, be a young person, a new parent or a grandparent, or be new to your local area – everyone is welcome.
