Police and emergency services are on scene at a gas leak at a water treatment plant at Joyner.
Residents around the facility, particularly to the east, are advised to keep windows and doors shut.
A declaration has also been made under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) to establish a 250 metre around the facility.
Those in the area should monitor conditions and take advice from emergency services on the ground.
