A northern suburbs man has been charged with child exploitation offences.
Today Monday 4 September, following an investigation, Detectives from the Special Crimes Investigation Section arrested a 57-year-old Northern suburbs man.
He has been charged with possess child exploitation material and encouraging another to access a website with child exploitation material. The accused was granted police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 19 October 2023.
Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Lyons, Officer in Charge of the Special Crimes Investigation Section said “SA Police are committed to child protection and protecting the vulnerable. This arrest occurred during National Child Protection Week which is held from September 3rd – 9th.”
