Investigators from Argos have charged a 57-year-old Fairfield man with one count each of possessing child exploitation material and use carriage service to access child exploitation service.
It will be alleged the man was accessing child exploitation material online and making sexualised comments about images of children in online chat forums.
Yesterday Argos investigators executed a search warrant on the man’s vehicle at Fairfield where his mobile phone, laptop and USB devices were seized as part of the investigation and will be subject to further examination.
He has been remanded in custody to next appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on March 15.
