Childhood immunisation – One more way to keep them safe

Department of Health

We know that routine childhood immunisation is a simple, safe, and effective way of protecting children from serious preventable diseases.

But we also know that, now more than ever, parents are looking for reassurance around vaccinating their kids.

To help parents and caregivers feel more confident and comfortable with childhood immunisation, here are some new resources to share with your community.

  • This is a great explainer video you can share with your networks that tells you everything you need to know about childhood immunisation.
  • Order this cute height chart to display in your clinic or health service so little ones in your community can measure their height.
  • Watch this shorter video explaining how childhood immunisation is effective.

If you run a clinic, here are 2 posters you can download and adapt:

Remember to remind parents to vaccinate on time and encourage them to feel comfortable to ask questions.
