Bayside Council’s annual Mayoral Christmas Card Competition is now open, inviting residents and local school students to submit festive designs for Council’s official Christmas cards.
A much-loved community initiative, the competition has been enthusiastically embraced by residents and young artists across Bayside.
Council is seeking creative Christmas-themed designs that are bright, cheerful and capture the spirit of the festive season.
The selected entries will appear on Christmas cards distributed by the Mayor, Councillors and Executive Team, either digitally or in print. Winning designs may also be featured across Council’s Christmas displays, printed materials and digital promotions.
Entries may be hand-drawn, photographic or digitally designed. However, all submissions must comply with the competition template, align with Council’s branding and logo requirements, and be suitable for reproduction on street flags and banners.
We encourage aspiring artists of all ages to take part and help spread the Christmas spirit throughout the Bayside community.
Entries close at 5pm Friday 24 November 2026.
