The City of Perth comes alive as Plateful Perth returns this August, with over 80 venues hosting 90 events and offerings of food, drink and accommodation from some of the best chefs, restaurants, venues and hotels in the city.
Returning for the fourth year and running for the month of August, Plateful Perth has offerings for all tastes and budgets.
A true showcase of both Perth’s best-known venues and best kept secrets, it features a wide variety of cuisines and experiences across the City.
City of Perth Deputy Lord Mayor David Goncalves said Plateful Perth gives the City’s restaurants and venues an opportunity to show off their culinary talents and provides residents and visitors with world class dining and hospitality experiences.
“We are delighted to see Plateful Perth return for its fourth year,” he said. “With a variety of exclusive offers and one-off experiences that aren’t normally on the menu, the City is the place to be this August.
“With Bargain Bites, Premium Plates, Sip Sessions and the return of our popular Gourmet Getaways, the festival has something to tempt everyone.
“Whether you visit during the day or come to enjoy a night out, the City is the premier destination for dining, lifestyle and leisure throughout August.”
The Bargain Bites category features 20 affordable food and drink offers, making it easy for City workers, students and visitors to discover somewhere new for lunch, dinner or after work drinks, with offers starting from just $15.
For lovers of Italian cuisine, Guy Grossi and Paolo Apuzzo will be cooking up a four-course feast at Garum, paired with wines and storytelling to create a traditional Italian experience.
Margaret River’s premier winery Vasse Felix will be partnering with Samuels On Mill, as part of their Winter Wine Series. Featuring a three-course menu and wine pairing, you can experience one of Margaret River’s most celebrated wineries without leaving the City.
Events and experiences will sell out fast, so make sure you book tickets to ensure you don’t miss out.
Plateful Perth runs from 1 to 31 August.
