City pub break-in arrests

Two people were arrested after a break-in at a city hotel overnight.

Police were called to Carrington Street, Adelaide about 12.45am on Thursday 22 December by reports of broken glass in the pub doors.

Police Dog Zeus and handler were the first to arrive at the scene and, with the assistance of witnesses, tracked the suspects to a nearby apartment building.

It will be alleged police located two suspects and stolen bottles of alcohol inside a unit.

The two men, both aged 45, were arrested and driven the short distance to the City Watch House where they were charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass.

One man was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 22 February, while the other did not apply and will face court today.
