Detectives from the Clandestine Laboratory Squad and Caulfield Divisional Response Unit have charged a man and woman after they located a clandestine laboratory in Elsternwick.
A warrant was executed at the property on Trevelyan Street about 8am on Wednesday 30 December.
Police located a clandestine laboratory along with chemicals and equipment used for manufacturing illicit drugs.
A 43-year-old Elsternwick woman and a 39-year-old Elsternwick man were both charged with multiple offences including traffick methylamphetamine, traffick cocaine, possess material used to manufacture a drug of dependence and possess precursor chemicals.
They were remanded overnight to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
