Emergency services are responding to reports of a climbing accident at Wilpena Pound, in the Flinders Ranges.
The alarm was raised about 1.15pm on Sunday 11 August.
Emergency services have made their way to the location, which is extremely remote and in inaccessible terrain.
Communication in the area is limited and police will provide further details when they are available.
