COAST SHELTER
Coast Shelter has expressed dismay over criminal charges laid against its former CEO, Laurie Maher.
Coast Shelter emphasised that the charges relate to alleged historical misconduct outside the organisation.
Mr Maher finished as CEO of Coast Shelter in 2018.
It is business as usual at Coast Shelter, which specialises in supporting homeless and vulnerable people in the community.
The organisation has encouraged individuals from all sectors of society with knowledge or experience of inappropriate behaviour to make the conduct known, for example, by reporting to police or appropriate authorities.
