Brunswick police are investigating the theft of alcohol which occurred in Coburg on 8 October.
Investigators have been told a man entered a liquor store on Sydney Road about 3pm and stole four bottles of scotch.
The man then left the store without attempting to pay
Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
